Huntsville Hotels and Lodging Review
Huntsville Airport was rated the number one BEST small airport in the US by USA today. The Airport is surrounded by many hotels and restaurants, both for those who just need a night's stay or coming here for a longer duration. For convenience, the Four Points by Sheraton located at the airport is the best choice for those that have an unfortunate travel delay or for those who simply desires to stay at the airport.
For those who are going to the Space and Rocket Museum or visiting the beautiful Botanical Gardens, there are about a dozen hotels between both locations. My two favorites are the Marriot at Rocket and Space Center, located just walking distance from the gate entry and the new Drury hotel, located across the highway.
Huntsville is a tech mecca for jobs, with many well-known defense and space companies located in the area. Many hotels are located around near the Redstone Arsenal and within Huntsville's Research Park, the second largest in the nation. For those looking to stay just the night, one of the more popular hotels is the Westin Bridge Street Hotel, located just a few miles from the airport. For those who prefer to stay in the lively and attractive downtown area or visiting the Von Braun Center, the Embassy Suites by Hilton and the new AC Hotel are popular choices.
For those who have a dog or other pets or would like to stay in a hotel with a pool, it is best to call the hotel. If you are staying for long term or just passing through, Huntsville's thriving city and the surrounding area may meet your needs.
